Our History
Ms. Satib Nisha Khan, along with six other women all very committed and compassionate about improving the quality of living and mental wellbeing came together and worked towards the establishment of BIRTH Fiji - a non-profit organization which began operation in 2019 and was officially registered on 20th January 2021. These proactive and outstanding women were from diverse backgrounds, and their passion to help others brought them together to create this organization which focuses on women empowerment, equality, equity and building better futures and building innate resilience through hearts.
The board of directors now consists of some of these women along with a few younger members. The support of other professionals and community members throughout the initial journey continues to add value to the work of the organization.
