The objective of advocacy is to empower clients and promote their rights to access the care and support they need. Individuals who may be facing systemic barriers or discrimination in accessing mental health services, as well as those who may be marginalized or disadvantaged in other ways are our main objective.
The expected outcomes of advocacy include improved access to mental health services, increased self-advocacy skills, and an overall improvement in mental health and wellbeing. Additionally, advocacy can also promote social change and address systemic issues that contribute to mental health disparities.
